The Scaling Use of Child Care Management Software (CCMS): A Toolkit for Policymakers and Industry Leaders provides resources and best practices to help public- and private-sector leaders expand access to and use of CCMS in early care and education. CCMS can help child care providers streamline and automate day-to-day administrative tasks, strengthen program management, and dedicate more staff time and capacity to supporting children and families. Comprehensive CCMS platforms can also help providers track, maintain, and report data and documentation that is required by regulating bodies and funders.
The toolkit was developed by Opportunities Exchange (OppEx), an organization working to strengthen the business of early care and education in ways that support better outcomes for children and more sustainable, supportive working environments for educators and program leaders. OppEx focuses on building stronger operational structures that enable early childhood leaders and educators to access the administrative, business, and instructional supports they need to deliver high-quality care and education.
