So, what does the future with ForwARd look like?

All children start kindergarten ready to learn. Families and communities know that children can get nutritious meals at school. Teachers feel supported by the administration and the community. See the graphic below for just some of the ways achieving our goals will benefit Arkansas education in the next five years.

All students in Arkansas graduate from high school prepared for college and the workplace. Talented, highly-qualified teachers have opportunities to innovate within the classroom and share their great ideas with one another. Business leaders have access to top-talent educated within our state.

Arkansas’s public education system is one of the best in the nation, teaching all students – regardless of where they are born or their families’ socio-economic status – how to be successful and innovative employees and engaged community leaders. As a result, Arkansas’s economy is thriving as the state competes globally as a creative and industrial hub.
